Intercultural Competence in increasingly diverse workplaces Planned as Onsite Seminar with virtual kick-off and follow-up session

 

Objectives 

The programme aims to enable participants to

  • Recognise and value cultural diversity especially in a work context
  • Understand and value the role of tolerance and empathy in managing and working in (culturally) diverse teams
  • Understand and respect cultural identities better
  • Address and overcome cultural barriers in diverse teams
  • Foresee and identify potential pitfalls as well as potential and actual challenges and conflicts in multicultural contexts and be able to address them with cultural sensitivity and mitigate them
  • Support a process that facilitates and supports the arrival and integration of new team members with different cultural backgrounds in the team, enabling new employees to feel safe and welcome in a foreign environment
  • Promote openness to explore new cultures and towards people from other cultures
  • Understand principles of successful intercultural management in order to appropriately respond to multicultural team work challenges
  • Apply knowledge and awareness of one's own culture
  • Evaluate, adapt and adjust to a new cultural environment
  • Develop shared values, goals and working methods in a multicultural team
  • Enable constructive exchange, dialogue and cooperation based on shared values and goals
  • Anticipate, identify, address, and resolve issues collaboratively in a multicultural team
  • Modulate their approach of communication and cooperation according to identified styles and conventions in a multicultural team
  • Manage complex situations based on diversity management strategies and tools

  • Kick-off session (online): 10.06.2025 (10.00–10.30 am)
  • Main event: 16. – 18.06.2025 (Frankfurt, Germany)
  • Post-Training Activity – Q&A Session (online): 03.07.2025 (10.00–11.00 am)

Fees

  • Training fees per participant: max. 1200 EUR, min. 800 EUR
