ESE/FSI "Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Risk Management"

Objectives

Banks make increasingly use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to accelerate processes, gain efficiencies and utilise big data. Yet the use of these new technologies comes with various kinds of risk. These risks raise supervisory and prudential concerns and make it necessary for supervisors and regulators to clarify their positions and expectations.

The seminar will explore use cases of AI and ML, analyse risks and present recent supervisory work to address them and provide opportunities for participants to discuss these issues with relevant experts.
